There's not a whole lot about Gareth Edwards' (_Monsters_) upcoming reboot of the Japanese classic film, but we have a few tidbits for you to check out. Now that production is actually underway, the highly praised filmmaker is opening up the vaults to show cinephiles what he's working on with _Godzilla_. For those who aren't in the loop, Edwards won the job of bringing the Kaiju back to the big screen after his first feature film became a global success. The filmmaker recently uploaded a "special message" from the set of the shoot, and although it's nothing more than a brief hello, it does offer cinephiles a first look at the film's set. You can check it out below: _Godzilla_ is currently filming in Vancouver, British Columbia, but once again the Canadian city is camouflaging itself as a different world-famous destination. In this case, the film takes place in Japan, and not in New York — specifically an airport.
